The symposium, “Navigating Multiplicity: Artistic Exchanges in East, Southeast, and South Asia 1950s-1980s,” examines the artistic and cultural exchange that shaped narratives and subjectivities in East, Southeast, and South Asia during the latter half of the 20th century.

This event was organized jointly by the documenta Institut and the Goethe-Institut.
